A new luxury, waterfront apartment complex in southern Berkeley County

A new luxury, waterfront apartment complex in southern Berkeley County is now accepting pre-leases for its fall opening.

The 320-unit Sweetwater Apartments at 16000 Sweet Place off Clements Ferry Road in the city of Charleston will offer studio to three-bedroom apartments with deep water access. Monthly rents range from $1,200 to $2,785 for the units on Beresford Creek. Amenities include a boat ramp, community docks, boat dockage, parking and storage.

The complex, which consists of 11 three- and four-story buildings, will include a pool, fitness center, walking and biking paths, outdoor kitchens, pet parks and community greenhouses.

Single-family homes and a 20-room waterfront boutique inn will round out the Sweetwater community being developed by Charleston-based Kassinger Development Group.
